I MUST SAY I’M A LITTLE FED UP WITH THE IDIOT EXTINCTION REBELLION PROTESTERS WHO HAVE BEEN STOPPING THE TRAFFIC IN LONDON WHICH CAUSES EXTRA POLLUTION AS EVERYONE HAS TO TRY TO FIND AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE TO DRIVE ROUND THESE PEOPLE.
TOGETHER WITH THE LUVVIES WHO ADMIT THEMSELVES THAT THEY ARE HYPOCRITES BY FLYING ALL OVER THE WORLD AND THEN COMPLAINING ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE.
IF THEY WANT TO PROTEST ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE I SUGGEST THEY FIND A MEANS OF DOING SO WHICH DOESN’T ADD TO POLLUTION.

THE CLIMATE HAS CHANGED EVER SINCE THIS PLANET WAS FORMED AND NO DOUBT WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.
OBVIOUSLY MOST OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE PROTESTING ARE TOO YOUNG TO REMEMBER WHEN IN THE 1970’S THE SCIENTISTS PREDICTED THE IMPENDING ICE AGE, I WONDER WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THAT?

About The Diary of a Country Bumpkin
I am a retired actor, although to be honest I only retired because I wasn't getting any work and the option of becoming an unemployed actor/waiter at my age was ludicrous, especially as my waiting skills are non-existent.
Having said I’m retired, I don’t think there really is such a thing as a retired actor for I am still available for work, I just don’t have an agent or any connections with regards to obtaining any worthwhile work.
I have over the years done student films when there is nothing else available, always low paid (if at all) the only incentive was always the promised copy of the finished film for your show reel which nine times out of ten always failed to materialise.
I spent many years looking after my aged mother who had dementia, hence the lack of acting work but shortly after her death I was lucky enough to run into an ex-girlfriend of many years ago and our romance blossomed once again, resulting in us getting married in 2013.
My move to the countryside inspired me to write The Diary of a Country Bumpkin which tells of my continuing dilemmas in dealing with the rigors of the countryside from the unexpectedly large number of pollens, fungal moulds and hay products waiting to attack the unsuspecting townie.
I enjoy writing, see my play Dulce Et Decorum Est Pro Patria Mori on The Wireless Theatre Company, The Plays Wot I Wrote and The Battle of Barking Creek both available on Amazon.co.uk and am very fond of classic cars so my ideal occupation would be acting in a film I had written set in the 1930s/40s, we live in hopes.
I am delighted to say that since venturing to the countryside where space is not quite the premium it is in town, I have due to the availability of two double garages acquired more classic cars to form a small collection the pride of which are a 1947 Bentley Mk VI and a 2000 Bentley Arnage.
My various blogs and websites are continually evolving and I’m sure that by following the appropriate links you will find something which will edify or amuse.
Hahaha 😂 The best environmental complain I ever heard. Yes, I find it stupid too. Like a specific young girl who almost everyone should never be criticize because “she’s a kid” well, if it’s so bad to criticized a her, then they should put a person who can give an answer instead. There’s so much I can add but everything I will basically just state how much I agree.
Oops. Too much typo errors. Anyway you get what I mean.
Also the fact that you got so emotional, that you had a few spelling mistakes. Shows that you are emotionally reacting, rather than actually listening.
She has been answering, not her fault you’re choosing not to listen.
I would like to introduce you to some people you seem to have forgotten about.
Harriet Tubman
Rosa Parks
The Suffragettes
Ghandi
Martin Luther King Jr
Jesus Christ
Every SINGLE one of these people were arrested and/or beaten at some point. Because people like you found them “bothersome”. In fact, half of these people were shot and killed because people like you found them “bothersome”. We didn’t get where we are today, because these people were all “quiet and good” They got where we are today, because they caused disruption.
The fact that you can’t write just one reply, but three, proves enough that you’re more emotional than me and completely in panic that you have to go in my blog to insult me. I’m not against protester, and I admire people who fight for the environment. I simply don’t like that specific teen who people like you praise as if she deserves the world. There are so many other kids around the world who do so much more for the environment but no one heard of them. And so bad you don’t understand Swedish because the whole thing about her was planned by adult people in a organization behind her, not her. Sorry miss fanatic but I’m only sharing my opinion. I’m here to blog not fight. And I’ll definitely not argue with you here in someone else blog.
I can’t wait to see how she gets back from America and she can’t stay there forever.
😂 True…
Well done, I agree with you totally on that one!!
Go on, tell us what you really feel!
Impending Ice Age? I thought that was behind us according to “Ice Age” animation. Oh dear.
I know nothing of a cartoon animation but they did actually warn of an impending ice age in the 1970’s.
Oh dear. That’s no reassuring, but now I know. Thank you for sharing.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO WRITE ALL IN CAPITALS. TAKE THE BUS NEXT TIME!
I think you’ll find that by blocking the road, they held up all the traffic including the busses.
A hearty Amen. I’ve been wondering, too, what happened to that ice age predicted back when I was in school. I’ve decided though, its time may have come; at least I’m seeing more global storming than global warming.
I have to say, as I’ve been around for quite a few years and have heard all sorts of predictions for the weather that I’m a little bit sceptical by now about all of it. If we orbit a tiny bit closer to the sun the weather gets hotter, conversely when we are a tad further away etc etc!
Here on the Saskatchewan prairie we’ve seen it all, too. The weather now is actually a lot more moderate than I remember in my teens with summer days easily over 100 F for a week or so at a time.
In 1683 the ice was so thick on the River Thames in London they used to have ice fairs on it, which included building a fire and roasting an ox the ice was that thick!
Wow! I recall reading about a time in the mid-1500s when the weather was so severe in Holland crops were lost and in winter some ports were ice-locked. Details escape me now, but it was one of those cycles.
Call me a sceptical old soul but I’m inclined to think this current weather is as you say, just one of those cycles and when our orbit with the sun changes that’s what effects the weather. When we are close it’s hot and slightly further apart it gets colder.
